What is our background and experience?

Michael Ivankovich has been buying and selling Antiques and Collectibles for nearly 30 years.

Beginning as a part-time dealer in 1974, he opened his first Antiques Shop in Bucks County, PA in 1976. In his early years in the business Michael actively bought and sold at Flea Markets in both Lambertville, NJ and Adamstown, PA. He has participated in Group Shops both in Pennsylvania and New England, and he has been a regular Exhibitor in local, regional, and New England Antiques Shows.

Michael Ivankovich has published more than 10 books in the Antiques & Collectibles field and has contributed specialty chapters to several other books. He serves on the Board of Advisors to most major national Antiques Price Guides including Schroeder's, Warman's, Kovels', Harry Rinker's, and most other major price guides.

Mr. Ivankovich is a licensed Auctioneer in Pennsylvania and New Hampshire where he conducts nationally attended Specialty Art and Print Auctions. He also conducts various Antique & Collectible, Household and Estate, General Consignment, and Fund Raising Auctions. He is a member of the National Auctioneers Association and the Pennsylvania Auctioneers Association, and has served as the President of the Lehigh Valley Society of Auctioneers.

He is also a member of the Bucks County Antiques Dealers Association and, with his wife Susan, serves as Show Manager of the Bucks County Antiques Dealers Association's Summer Antiques Show in Doylestown PA.

A frequent lecturer, Michael has written articles for most major trade papers, has appeared on various radio and television programs, and is frequently consulted by antique columnists from throughout the country. His Exploring Early 20th c. Prints column now appears in 14 trade papers and publications around the country. And he provides appraisal services and exhibits at select Antique Shows throughout the northeast.

Michael resides in Doylestown PA with his wife Susan, who serves as Vice-President of The Michael Ivankovich Antiques & Auction Co. Susan also designs Web sites...and she designed the entire Michael Ivankovich Antiques & Auction Co. Web Site. She has also co-authored 4 cookbooks. They have four children and two grandchildren.
