Welcome to Auction #76

FRIDAY, MAY 14th: Doors open at 12:00 PM for the Auction Preview. The Auction will start promptly at 2:00 PM with approximately 50 lots of Discovery Art (i.e., Pictures & Prints which will not appear on the Internet portion of our Auction). This will include a nice selection of Wallace Nutting and Nutting-Like Pictures. The Internet portion of Friday's Auction will begin at 2:30 PM with Lot #1 and will continue through approximately Lot #500. We expect to finish the Auction by approximately 8:00 PM. Friday's Auction will be followed by the opening of the Wallace Nutting Collectors Club Hospitality Suite which is open to all Club Members.

SATURDAY, MAY 15th: The 2010 Wallace Nutting Collectors Club Convention will begin at approximately 8:00 AM in the same room at Friday's Auction. Many of the country's leading collectors and dealers will have tables set up around the room and will be there to Buy, Sell, Trade and Display Wallace Nutting Pictures, Books, Furniture, and Memorabilia. No one is allowed in the room until the doors open at 8:00 AM which gives all Club Members fair access to the merchandise being offered inside. Table space is available to any member of the Wallace Nutting Collectors Club and can be reserved by calling Jim Eckert at (309)-723-4241.

Following the early morning Buying & Selling Session, the Club will hold its brief annual Business Meeting., to be followed by several Wallace Nutting Presentations. In the afternoon Members are welcome to visit the Wadsworth Atheneum in Hartford CT (the home of the Wallace Nutting Antique Furniture Collection), or many of the area's other attractions, including the Webb House in Wethersfield CT, which was one of the five houses in Wallace Nutting's Colonial Chain of Homes. The Wallace Nutting Weekend will wind down with the Annual Club Dinner at 7:00 PM, followed by the Club's Hospitality Suite. If you collect Wallace Nutting, you won't want to miss this Wallace Nutting Get-Away Weekend.
