The
Role of PAA State Directors
Each
of the six regional chapters of the Pennsylvania
Auctioneers Association selects a director who becomes
a member of the PAA Board of Directors, in addition
to the PAA Executive Officers. This individual is
elected by his or her chapter members to represent
that particular chapter's interests, opinions and
votes on all issues to the PAA Board of Directors;
to attend all state board meetings; to serve as
chairperson of chapter directors; and to arrange
for an alternate state director to represent the
chapter at state board meetings when unable to attend.
Each state director can serve up to two consecutive
1-year terms. A state director shall hold no other
office within his or her chapter while he/she is
service in the director capacity.
